As Vice President, General Manager of the Personette Group, Kimberly Huguley-Brown draws upon her outstanding communication and interpersonal skills daily to keep this dynamic Real Estate Group humming like a well-oiled machine. An accountant by trade, her excellent analytic and organizational skills and innovative approach to problem solving have proven invaluable in helping Personette navigate the turbulent ups and downs of the urban and resort real estate markets.
Kimberly's tenure at Personette began in 2005 when she joined the team as Accounting Manager. After quickly mastering the complicated system of reconciling company and salesperson draws against commissions … “Kimberly mastered the draw system faster than any financial person we've ever had” according to Founder Edith Personette … she continued to demonstrate her overall business sense with recommendations for improvements to our forecasting and reporting systems. Her strong steady approach earned her first promotion within 10 months of her arrival as she took on the title of Vice President, Finance and Administration. She was recently named VP, General Manager as the Company continues to transition to service multiple markets.
Prior to joining Personette, Kimberly spent a number of years as Controller at Origin Design, a design and printing firm. In this role, she managed all financial, administrative and human resources needs. There she introduced new processes and procedures to increase efficiency, including integrating job tracking with accounting and the implementing a new job-costing system to help accurately track job costs and integrate into the billing processes.
Kimberly's early years include positions with the National Association of Minority Contractors, Personnel Decisions International, the Institute of Orthopedic Research and Enron Energy Services.
Kimberly was a National Merit Scholar and graduated with honors (cum laude), earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (minor Sociology) from the University of Houston. She is also well on her way to an MBA from the University of Houston. When she is not in the office, Kimberly is taking care of her husband and two young sons and rooting for the Pittsburg Steelers.
